Early Childhood Education

Our community needs YOU! Get rewarded for becoming an Early Childhood Educator through Amador College Connect and the Amador Quality for Kids incentive program. Earn your degree or certificate and participate in an apprenticeship program to gain experience.

We offer completely FREE services to over 200 Amador and Calaveras County residents. Our students are earning online degrees, certificates, and high school/college credits. Ranging from ages 14 to 70 and beyond, they are paving the way for the progression of our community’s success!

Although she faced a challenge going to school full time while taking care of her family, Jennifer has earned both her Medical Administrative Office Technician Certificate and Medical Coding Specialist Certificate, has continuously made the Honor Roll, and is now on track to complete her degree at the end of Fall semester 2021.

Argonaut senior, Savannah Allgeyer (left), is currently finishing up her English 100 class this summer with Coastline Community College. She is taking this course in lieu of AP English 12 as a way to free up her busy schedule.

Who we are…

Amador College Connect is a completely free local resource center that quickly and easily connects people to online college classes and other programs/coursework by providing help at every step of the process, from filling out financial aid forms to signing up for classes, tutoring, and more.

Amador Giving Tuesday

The Tuesday following Thanksgiving is the day for charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.

Amador Community Foundation gives this nationally recognized annual giving campaign a special local twist. By making ONLINE donations at giveamador.org on #GivingTuesday, your dollars will go further, thanks to Matching Grant Sponsors.

In 2019, Amador Community Foundation matched $40,000 of donations to Amador County non-profits!
