Carter Cowan, Dual Enrollment

Carter Cowan has big dreams and plans, and with Amador College Connect, he is able to get a head start on his college journey through Dual Enrollment. “One of the best parts of taking college classes through Amador College Connect is the flexibility,” Carter said. “It allows me to work ahead and on my own schedule.” Carter has successfully completed English 100, History 170, Political Science 180, English 102 and Economics 175, all through Coastline Community College through Amador College Connect’s dual enrollment program! “Let’s just say a lot of late nights! But in the end, it’s absolutely worth it,” Carter said. “They’ve helped with everything from registration to financial aid for books and software,” Carter said. “The supportive staff has also been incredible, always willing to help me reach my goals.” “I’ll be going on a Rotary Youth Exchange to Argentina. After that, I’m keeping my options open, so who knows what’s next,” Carter said. “But the hard work really does pay off.”
