Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Scholarship Fund
Qualifying Amador College Connect students can apply for financial scholarships (free money that does not have to be paid back) from the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Scholarship Fund. This fund is available to Amador College Connect students residing in Amador County who are pursuing a Human Services Certificate through Coastline College. To apply, review the MHSA scholarship criteria and contact ACC for an application or download the electronic application below, complete it and send it (along with additional optional pages and required financial verification) to info@amadorcollegeconnect.org.
Jackson Rancheria Employee Scholarship for Continuing Education
The Jackson Rancheria Scholarship Fund is administered by Amador College Connect under contract with the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort. These funds serve the employees of Jackson Rancheria pursuing classes, certificate, or degree programs through Amador College Connect and 1 of its 4 accredited community college partners. Amador College Connect offers one-on-one, individualized assistance in the application, enrollment and registration processes. Students may use our center’s computer lab to fill out online applications, as well as complete the coursework once enrolled and actively attending classes. You don’t even need your own computer to take online classes (but it helps!)

Amador College Connect Peer Mentors are like personal coaches for your online education experience. Peer Mentors are experienced online college students who volunteer their time to help new students through every step of the application and registration process, as well as navigating Canvas, the learning management program. Peer Mentor services are optional and may be requested by new students.

The Amador College Connect computer lab offers Windows-based computers that are free for our students to use on a drop-in basis during regular business hours. The lab offers high-speed WiFi and a student printer. Students may also use the lab as a study center and bring their own laptops.

Amador College Connect collaborates with four colleges within the California Community College System offering online programs. ACC works with Coastline College, Foothill College, Columbia College, and California Virtual Campus
Online college classes can lead to the completion of a certificate program, two-year degree (AA or AS), or four-year degree (BA or BS).
