Eboni Moen, MHSA Program
When donors invest in Amador College Connect, they’re investing in students like Eboni, who is a beacon of strength, resilience and purpose. After surviving a traumatic event in 2011, Eboni faced years of severe mental health challenges. When she relocated to Amador County, the isolation was compounded by a lack of access to mental health services and support systems. Eboni didn’t give up, and this drive gave her a passion to speak up for others and advocate for those who are struggling. Eboni’s journey goes far beyond the classroom and has gained valuable work experience through Sierra Wind and Wellness Recovery Center and Victory Village. She also is an active leader in Phi Theta Kappa’s Beta Psi Alpha chapter where she is developing a podcast for the group. She has also created her own podcast. Eboni is one of the many students that proves what is possible when students are determined and have a support system behind them.
