Amador College Connect Moves 24 Lives Forward
On Monday evening, Amador College Connect's K-16 celebration honored 24 graduates who earned certificates in Computer Science or Early Childhood Education from Columbia College, with ECE grads also receiving state Assistant Teaching Permits and securing jobs at local daycare centers, ACUSD, or state preschools. Funded by a Regional K16 Education Collaborative Grant aimed at post-COVID workforce rebuilding, the program provided each student a $500 completion bonus.
