Hospitality Management Classes Offered Fall 2018

Amador College Connect coordinates with Jackson Rancheria and Columbia College Apprenticeship Initiative to offer Hospitality Management Classes in Amador County!

Amador College Connect and Jackson Rancheria have collaborated with Columbia College’s Apprenticeship Initiative to bring Hospitality Management classes to Amador County.  This collaboration initiates two innovative programs this Fall 2018:

Culinary Arts Classes open to Community Members

The following live video feed courses will be open to community members and taught at the Jackson Rancheria:

  •  HPMGT 122- Restaurant Math -1.0 unit - 8/27/18 to 10/15/18, 8:35am to 11:00am Mondays. Video feed class live from Columbia College.
  • HPMGT 120-Safety and Sanitation-1.0 unit-10/22/18 to 12/10/18, 8:45am to 11:10am Mondays.  Video feed class live from Columbia College.

The following course will be open to community members online:

  • HPMGT 102- Introduction to Hospitality Careers– 1.5 units, 8/27/18 to 12/15/18.  Online class.

Certificate of Achievement: Chef Two-Year Program for Jackson Rancheria Employees

Employees of Jackson Rancheria may apply to be selected into a two-year program with Columbia College leading to a Certificate of Achievement: Chef.  Courses will be taught by Columbia College but will be held at Jackson Rancheria.
