ACCF Gives Thanks for Record-Setting Giving Tuesday Generosity

The Board of Directors of Amador Community College Foundation (ACCF) wants to thank the many donors who gave generously at GiveAmador on Tuesday, November 27.

Board Secretary, Karen Dickerson, explains that Giving Tuesday donations are very important to furthering the mission of Amador College Connect, “2018 has been a record setting year for Amador College Connect. Thanks to our county’s incredible generosity we are reaching more people and offering more choices for degree programs and professional certificates.”

ACCF was one of many county charities and civic organizations represented at Amador Community Foundation’s annual Giving Tuesday event held at Highway House in Jackson. Donations made in person at the event or online to Amador Community Foundation and earmarked for ACCF qualified for a share of the $40,000 in matching grants offered by this year’s Incentive partners: Jackson Rancheria, American Legion Post 108, Stan Lukowicz and the Amador Community Foundation Helen Fallis Fund.

ACCF Treasurer, Craig Berman, stated “GiveAmador is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate our county’s many charitable and civic organizations and the generosity that supports these efforts. We are grateful to the Amador Community Foundation for sponsoring this important annual event.”
