Amador Community College Foundation Announces Free Summer Classes Offered by Columbia College | Roots | ledger.news
The Amador Community College Foundation (ACCF) and staff at Amador College Connect (photo attached) would like the students of all ages and all individuals in our service area to be aware of the fact that Amador College Connect are available to assist students in registering for free summer classes to be offered by Columbia College. Classes are being offered in Arts & Humanities; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM areas); Wellness, Child Development, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Healthcare. Some of the courses are offered online, others are in-person and some are hybrid courses. This is a great opportunity for new students to get an inexpensive jump start on their college careers or for current students to make inexpensive timely progress towards degree completion.
The staff at Amador College Connect (ACC) are available to help new students apply for college admission and assist all students with course registration, review of available financial aid and application for financial aid. Once enrolled in a course, ACC also offers many student support services. ACC staff will help with future course registration, application for financial assistance, textbook purchasing, finding tutoring assistance, use of the centers computer lab, exam proctoring, finding student internships and application for scholarship assistance.
